The De Ronde van Grampian is now part of the Michigan Gravel RACE Series with its roots derived from special races and rides from years past in and around the local area of Oakland and Lapeer Counties. This ride pays tribute to the Ronde van Stony, Grampian Challenge and Fall 50. For 2026, The De Ronde van Grampian will be held on Saturday August 1st starting and finishing inside Upland Hills Farm.
There will be three distances: Mini (13 miles), Short (32 miles), and Long (52 miles), all consisting of 100% gravel. These routes roll through the area’s natural terrain, offering amazing scenic views along with sections of single and double track for added fun. There’s even a Dutch windmill out on the Long course.
We will provide marked routes, .gpx files, and professional timing courtesy of Epic Timing. Food will be available for purchase after the race.
We also plan to have on-site bike mechanical support.
This race uses Upland Hills private land only accessible during the event on August 1st, 2026 from 9AM to 4PM - NO EXCEPTIONS. You cannot pre-ride the Upland Hills section of the course. Violators will be reported to the local authorities for trespassing.
